These bracelets are a common sight in the nightlife of Bangkok, often done in bright colors and stating obscene words.
Rukpong has always been curious about how they were made, so he visited Khaosarn Road and spent time with the makers.
He realized the complexity of their creation and discovered that each text can be customized in terms of colors and wording.
Rukpong wanted to elevate this unique street know-how by finding a way to wear the piece in a refined manner. The result is a frame that houses the bracelet perfectly and gives this overlooked handcraft a new home.
