Maison Michel for Rukpong

The collaboration with Maison Michel that won the Prix le 19M des Métiers d’Art Prize 2021 is a set of 13 different hats made from various materials that can be interchanged to create various combinations.

Inspired by headgear of Thai construction workers and the series of images by Ralf Tooten. The result is an elevation of Thai sense of materials and construction translated into a different context through the craft and know-how of Maison Michel.
